Natni ehf er einkahlutafélag í eigu Herdísar Kristjánsdóttur, stofnað árið 2016.

Hún hefur stundað handverk frá barnæsku og er menntaður textilkennari  frá Kennaraháskóla Íslands.

Einnig hefur hún sótt ýmis námskeið í handverki t.d.við Skals-designe og håndarbejdeskole í Danmörku en þar lærði hún vefnað, þá aðferð sem hún notar við að handvefa værðarvoðirnar.

Herdís hefur saumað þjóðbúninga og kennt það fag við Heimilisiðnaðarskólann.

Helsta verkefni hennar síðustu ár hafa verið breytingar á brúðarkjólum, og kemur þá reynslan af þjóðbúningasaumnum vel að gagni, þegar sníða þarf kjólinn vel að eigandanum.

Natni ehf is a private limited company owned by Herdís Kristjánsdóttir, founded in 2016.

Herdís has practiced handicrafts since childhood and is a trained textile teacher from the Iceland Teachers College.

She has also attended various courses in handicrafts, e.g. at Skals-designe and håndarbejdskole in Denmark, where she learned weaving, the method she uses to hand-weave the blankets.

Herdís has sewn national costumes and taught that subject at the Home Industry School.

Her main projects of the last few years have been alterations to wedding dresses, and the experience of sewing national costumes comes in handy when the dress needs to be tailored to the owner.
